Monocle Lens is a mirrorless camera lens designed and made in Prague 🇨🇿. The lens element is upcycled from used disposable cameras and housed in a 3D-printed body. People usually describe it as a “pancake lens” because it weighs only 30 grams.
The Monocle Lens is compatible with popular mirrorless systems, including Canon RF,Nikon Z, Sony E, Fuji X, and Micro 4/3 mounts. Simply choose the version designed for your camera to ensure a perfect fit—no adapter needed.
Each lens has an alignment mark (a small line on the side) that lines up with the dot or mark on your camera’s mount. Match those two points, then twist gently until the lens locks into place. It’s designed to fit snugly and securely once aligned.
Manual mode or aperture priority are best for creative control. You can also experiment with higher ISO in low light since the lens has a fixed aperture. Part of the fun is discovering the unique looks you can achieve!
